After you have logged into the shipowner self-service, you will be able to see the front page that contains a list of all the ships that you have access to. Depending on if you have logged in as a private person or as an employee of a company, you can see ships based on the following criteria:

Logged in as a private person

  • Ships you own
  • Ships you charter
  • Ships that other people have given you access to

Logged in as an employee of a company

  • Ships that the company owns
  • Ships that the company charters
  • Ships that other users have given you, as a user, access to

Access to see general ship data

After logging in the overview below will appear. Here you can get a quick overview of the ships you have access to, as well as planned and completed inspections. Likewise, there is also a direct link to where you can order inspections for your ships.

If you subsequently choose to click on See details for a certain ship, you will be able to see a number of additional information about the ship, such as the tonnage, identifications letters, engine power, register and port of registry. Here you’ll also have the opportunity to access the ship through the Danish Maritime Authority's other services such as the Registration Record.

Information about inspections

The shipowner self-service also allows you to see information about upcoming and historical inspections. You find this information by clicking on See details on the ship for which you would like to see the inspection data:

Furthermore, if you click on See details on a specific inspection more information for the inspection will be available. Here you also have the option to download the inspection report.

See who has access to a certain ship

For each ship under See details you can see who has received access to the ship. It’s also here you’ll have the option to grant or remove access to a certain ship if you have administrator rights. You do this under Manage.

See your ships certificates

You can see your ships associated certificates if you click See details on a certain ship. Here you’ll also have the option to download a PDF of the certificates.

How do I give others access to my ships?

If you want to grant access to a ship, to new employees for example, you must:

  1. Access the self-service solution
  2. Thereafter, when you are on the home page, click on Access to ships for the ship which access needs to be granted

  3. Then click on "Add person"

  4. Then enter the user ID of the person who needs to access the specific ship

  5. Finally, choose which access-rights the person should have. There are three options for access: "None", "View", and "administrative".
